Embraces the scalability and resiliency of SaaS and cloud service utilizing modern DevOps culture and technologies. Delivers product releases compliant with schedule and financial objectives. Ensure quality is built into every commit and sprint through continuous integration, automated testing, and appropriate manual review. Verifies that new technical debt is minimized and old technical debt is removed. Ensures standards and implementation of best practices for all technology related services. Oversees and ensures cross-departmental disciplines.

This position provides leadership and coordination for the entire IT team at Emergency Reporting (ER). Leads and directs strategy, manages budget, and ensures disciplined approaches to complex operations to meet strong professional standards for ER IT. As a cross-functional leadership role, this position works collaboratively with stakeholders at different levels in the organization. Ensures ER IT policies, processes and procedures are written, current, and known to drive disciplined professional practices. Ensures ER Architecture is designed, documented, modern and secure. Oversees day to day functional operations to ensure alignment with defined practices. Oversees long term planning and discipline for certifications, business continuity, and incident response readiness.

In this role, I was the leader responsible for driving the corporate strategy development, deployment, and execution across all levels of the company. This involved negotiating multi-national strategic operational partnership agreements, developing and managing fraud prevention and security initiatives as well as directing overall software development. I was also responsible for budget planning, P&L management and interfacing with the Board of Directors.

As the CTO and EVP, I was responsible for strategy, management and execution of the entire networking, hardware, software and security on a 24/7/365 basis with 99.99% up time. This initially involved an on-site data center that was eventually migrated off-site into a private, managed hardware, virtualized solution significantly reducing both hardware and maintenance costs.Additional projects included integrating VOIP, hosted Exchange and offsite data backup solutions reducing communication and business continuity costs by 75%. I was also responsible for building and managing a custom CRM solution that allowed a staff of four to successfully manage the entire operations of a multi-million dollar business.

Slingshot-NW, Inc. (dba Slingshot) is a marketing platform for products created by inventors and entrepreneurs of the Pacific Northwest. The ultimate goal of Slingshot is to strengthen the economic stability of our community by helping local products achieve commercial success on a global scale. To achieve this, my primary responsibility is developing and executing channel specific marketing strategies for each licensed product in the portfolio. This includes pursuing Direct Response Television (DRTV), sub-licensing or IP assignment to relevant industry partners or direct-to-consumer sales through wholesale and/or e-commerce platforms. Some products require either domestic and/or overseas manufacturing, importing and supply chain management.

The Bellingham Youth Lacrosse Club (Bellingham Warriors) is a 501(c)3 corporation created to promote the growth of lacrosse in Whatcom County. We offer an instructional program, aimed at introducing boys and girls, grades 1 - 12, to the exciting and fun game of lacrosse.As an instructional program, the emphasis will be on learning stick skills, game fundamentals, and what it means to be part of a team - being responsible, respectful, and giving 100% effort at all times.
