Bryan Ballard is a Vice President Information Technology at Kendall Vegetation Services. The first time I worked with Bryan was at Peachtree Software when I was a Software Engineer and he was in Software Support. Even early on, Bryan displayed a masterful temperament for dealing with irate customers who needed help with our accounting software. Before long, Bryan moved out of external software support, and into a position within the internal IT group. It was easy to see the Bryan had a real aptitude for working with technology and hardware and rose up quickly within that group. As the years passed and I moved on to RealTime Gaming, I became involved in a company reorganization. This process created an opening for our Director of IT position, and I could think of no one more suited to the job than Bryan. In the ensuing years, Bryan consistently proved he was more than up to the task. As our company transitioned from RealTime Gaming, to Xavaint, and finally to XDS, Bryan drove efforts to move us into four separate office spaces. He created solid relationships with external vendors that allowed us to reuse them over the years and get preferential scheduling and pricing which helped to streamline our moves and expansions. He managed all aspects of the process including space planning, furniture allocation, server room design, power requirements, and much, much more. He also did a phenomenal job coordinating efforts between international offices in multiple countries and time zones. Bryan possess all the required skills for a Director of IT. He is familiar in great detail with operating systems (both desktop and server), Exchange, and other Enterprise level applications. He also has a strong knowledge of servers, firewalls, switches, and other network devices. Bryan can handle all aspects of the Director of IT role. In all my years I have never worked with a Director of IT that maintained such a positive rapport both internally and externally. As a Chief Operating Officer, I have had to depend on him as my right hand for many years. Bryan is quite simply, a joy to work with."
