I'm currently a project manager with Apex Steel. We are a structural and miscellaneous steel fabricator and erector. We specialize in commercial renovations but also handle new projects. After the bid process and the project has been awarded to our company I handle the project from the approval process through the completion of the project. I review shop drawings and contract drawings and work as an intermediary between the shop and field personnel. I also handle all change orders and problems that may arise in the shop or field. I'm in charge of purchasing all materials needed for my projects. I help with scheduling work and dealing with the customer to ensure we exceed the customers expectations. I also work to make sure we finish each job on time and under budget.

At CFSS I worked as a sales representative and project manager. I made sales calls and worked to establish and build business relationships. I worked mostly on the scaffolding and shoring side of the business. I met with customers to look at jobs and provide solutions for what they were trying to accomplish. My job duties included takeoffs, estimating projects, scheduling deliveries and crews to complete the work, manage projects, work with engineers and field personnel to ensure the project would be safe and meet all expectations, detailing projects, safety inspections, job tracking, working in the field at times to complete projects, manage erection and dismantle crews, job tracking, and much more.

At All American Iron Works we fabricated and installed handrails, fences, and other steel products. I worked mostly in the shop cutting parts, welding, grinding, painting, and fabricating handrails. I also worked in the field installing handrails and fences.
