Bryan Childers Email and Phone Number

Bryan Childers has had a passion for primates since an early age, so early in fact that he doesn't know when it developed. One of Bryan's earliest memories is calling his half-sister the day after Christmas, proclaiming he got a "dawiwa" as he couldn't pronounce "gorilla." Afterward, Bryan would share his knowledge with anyone within his radius, much to his parents' chagrin. He decided to make his passion his career when he did a fifth-grade science project on Jane Goodall. Though Bryan knew of Jane Goodall before this project, reading a biography about her cemented Dame Goodall as a personal idol that stands to this day.Bryan has learned how interdisciplinary his primate knowledge is through his college journey. It is the most evident when his literature review "The Eighth Wonder of the World: King Kong's Cinematic and Racial History" was nominated for the GMU Honors College Schwartzstein First Semester Research Award. Through this experience, Bryan learned that he loved conducting research and since continued creating independent literature reviews. He'll continue doing these until he earns an MS in Biological Anthropology. Afterward, he hopes to spend the rest of his life saving endangered primates from extinction.
