Black Bear North L.C., a division of Black Bear LLC., was formed to offer convienent access to our members with a major focus on the growth and develop of youth and HS lacrosse players in Montgomery and Berks Counties with our location in Phoenixville PA. As Co-Director:-Oversee day-to-day operations of Black Bear North -Hiring of coaching staff for our 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019 teams.-Development of fall and off season training program at Phoenixville and 422 Sportsplex.-Develop yearly budget, review financial information, and report our final budget to Black Bear.-E-mail members new and important updates for off season training, practice schedules, payment dates, tournament summer practice schedules. -Create partnerships with local youth and HS organizations to continue to develop boys lacrosse in the montco/berks county area.

As the head coach of the HS program I over sea and develop all our off-season programs which include an off-season lifting and conditioning program (summer, fall and winter), fall ball lacrosse work outs, fall ball leagues/tournaments, community service initiatives, coaches/player clinics, working closely with our Athletic Director on scheduling and compliance, develop all practice plans, scouting reports, film break down and study sessions, work closely with our youth leaders helping them develop good practice plans to help our youth program grow and continue to be successful, work with boosters organization to get funding and fundraising initiatives approved for the current year. Work closely with my coaching staff to develop our offensive/defensive playbooks and the installation of our new 5-year strategic plan to take PV lacrosse to the next level which is to play at the highest standard against the best teams and win championships.

Students in grades 9th through 12th taking advanced placement classes in government and economics. We have discussed the political campaigns, federal vs. state law, civil rights, and foreign policy issues to conclude the year. I have assigned Current Event Projects as well.

Am in charge of coordinating, marketing, and developing lacrosse specific 1 hour training sessions for our u-13 through HS ELITE players during the off-season breaking them future in to position specific training sessions for attack/midfield and defensive players. This program is being used to help our Black Bear players develop into better lacrosse players through passionate and superior coaching focusing on three key areas: fundamental skill development, speed/agility training, and increasing the players lacrosse “IQ” by educating them on different aspects of lacrosse offensive and defensively. We do are training sessions at the Maple Zone in Garnet Valley and the 422 Sportsplex in Pottstown PA.

Taught Accounting I and II principles to students as well as Business Marketing principles to students as an elective.

-Taught five 9th grade American History classes including four PREP classes and one Honors class over a seven week period for Mr. Mike Poysden at PVHS over 7+ weeks. During that time:-I created two units “America Becomes a World Power-Imperialism” and “World War 1” as well as a mini unit on the cultural, social, and political aspects of the 1920s. -Was given the responsibility of managing the classroom, entering as well as managing grades/student performance on E-School- All lesson planning including meeting PA Common Core Standards and preparing report cards. -Used a variety of different teaching strategies through differentiated instruction to meet the needs of my students as well as develop all tests and quizzes for assessments.-Met with parents and guidance counselors for students 504 plans and communicated with parents with student performance.- Used Google Classroom to post assignments, notes, power points, handouts, and homework for all students.

-Taught three U.S. History I 10th grade Weighted Honors classes (66 total students)-Helped Co-Op teacher with two elective Law Classes throughout student-teaching experience-Created a Unit Plan for U.S. History Immigration and Urbanization (Mid 1800s to early 1900s)-Created a Unit Plan for U.S. History The Progressive Era (late 1800s to early 1900s)-Collected student data through both pre and post tests for S.L.O. (student learning objectives) as well as was involved with the development of the S.L.O. and final students will take in June 2015.-Collaborated on a daily basis with Co-Op teacher as well as other departmental staff through P.L.C. (professional learning community) meetings within Social Studies Department.-Worked in a diverse environment with students from both gifted and IEP students-Used a variety of different learning strategies through differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all my students.-Attended Parent/Teacher conference to give parents update's on student progress and to create a better relationship with parents.-Used E-School Grading system to keep track of students progress, grades, attendance, and to keep parents informed

As a graduate assistant with the office of Graduate Enrollment Management our departments goal is to make the lives of our students as stress free and streamlined as possible.

I am the head coach of the U-15 Elite team for the summer of 2012 focusing on building a competitve lacrosse team and to bring champshionships to the organization.

I am the Director of the Kennett Square and Bucksmont Lacrosse camps for the summer of 2012. I am givin the responsibility to market these camps, hire counselors, develop practice plans for the week, set up the fields, receive any and all paperwork, payments, and most importantly help develop the fundamental skills of lacrosse to the young players who have signed up for our Black Bear Lacrosse Camps and to ensure they had a wonderful experience.

Was the Assistant Head Coach of the PVHS Varsity lacrosse team and the Head JV Coach for 2012. Assisted in developing practice plans, worked the box, and advised during games. Am also in charge of the off season lifting and conditioning program as well as the Fall Ball schedule for 2012.

Coordinated camps, clinics, personnel, and equipment along with teaching campers one-on-one fundamentals of lacrosse.
