Implemented process improvement by creating new workflows for the Confirmation/Qualification team and Collections Team. I have created and managed the Medicare document review process from Redeterminations through the ALJ (Administrative Law Judge Hearing) levels, RAC Audits and CERT Audits. In addition, I have trained my own team and branch personnel in order to provide a more consistent workflow and build communication. Also, I continually create new reports within Brightree to ensure all revenue is booked, assist with month end and year end financial reporting and acquisitions.

I created new processes for the Discount Agreement team, in which we qualified, obtained all billing documentation, billed and collected for 8 companies. Once these were current and in line with Apria Healthcare standards, we acquired all 8 companies. I then was promoted to the Suspended Supervisor. I managed a team of 17 people who obtained all billing documenation, including all renewal authorizations, for a $6 million per month revenue company. I decreased the Suspended Billing percentage from about 26% down to 17% against a rolling 60 day average revenue. I helped our billing center go from 15th in the country to top 2 within 9 months.

I assisted the Med B Appeals team with process improvement, reduction of a large backlog and training/testing through 2 system conversions. I oversaw the Appeals and Fair Hearings teams, which consisted of 11 employees. I also assisted with financial reporting for the CMS.
