Bryan D. Clutz, Ph.D., is Executive Director, Center for Transformation at The Health Management Academy (THMA). Joining the firm in April 2015, Bryan has held numerous positions in the education services and research departments of the organization, including accountability for and management of THMA’s eleven administrative and finance forums, spearheading industry member content development and advancement, and leading a research agenda as interim Director of Research that studied the organization, financing, and delivery of healthcare.Prior to joining THMA, Bryan worked in the Department of General Pediatrics at the University of Rochester Medical Center and Strong Memorial Hospital (now UR Medicine). There, he was involved with the daily operations of several large-scale, federally funded clinical trials that focused on improving healthcare and developing sustainable models for identifying and treating urban children who suffer from childhood asthma. In addition, Bryan was also previously on the faculty at Nazareth University where he was an adjunct professor in the School of Health and Human Services, leading graduate level courses in child, adolescent, and adult psychopathology.He has presented research at several nationally recognized meetings, conferences, and organizations such as Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS), the Society for Research in Child Development (SRCD), and the Conference on Human Development.Bryan received a BA in Psychology from Hartwick College and his MS and Ph.D. in Education and Human Development from the University of Rochester.
