Bryan is also a great human being. He is personable, nice and hilarious. He supports his team and management staff and is always the first person to offer help or to make everyone smile in a difficult situation. I spent a better part of a holiday weekend on the phone with Bryan while a junior engineer troubleshot a problem. There was an issue with a system when the owner of the system and their manager were out of town. The junior engineer was on call and over his head, so it was escalated to me. I sent out a Help email to the team and Bryan jumped on the call with us within minutes. Bryan was so patient with the engineer, he didn’t steamroll him, but guided him and kept him on track when he strayed. He also continued to make sure I was updated and felt comfortable with the progress. Bryan had a fix in place that would last us the rest of the weekend. I was so impressed at how quick he jumped in and made sure the team was ok.
