About Bryan Curry

Former Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Howard University College of Medicine. Formerly the Interim Chief of the Cardiovascular Division, which is the largest division in the Department of Medicine at Howard University Hospital. I am a noninvasive Cardiologist, focusing on comprehensive echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. Prior to joining the faculty at Howard University, I was in private practice for 7 years, the opportunities to teach medical students and train residents and fellows are what led me to the academic realm. My general interests are race/ethnic disparities in cardiovascular outcomes from various diseases, as well as in the use of procedures and testing. I'm most interested in the pipeline of students from diverse backgrounds and maintaining interest and opportunities in STEM careers.
