With nearly six years experience in academic advising, I am deeply committed to fostering educational success at Metro State University. At the heart of my mission is the empowerment of post-traditional BIPOC students, ensuring they receive personalized guidance that aligns with the inclusive culture of our organization. My goal is to bring an authentic, human-centered perspective to our team and students, supporting their unique paths and contributing to a vibrant, equitable learning space.In my current role, I manage a caseload of 250-500 undergraduate students across the colleges of Individualized Studies and Liberal Arts, providing critical support for their academic journeys. My expertise in building relationships has been instrumental in promoting a positive student culture and generating buy-in from other departments to help sustain this kind of paradigm shift.
