I joined the military and after a few years was selected for army special forces training and subsequently was awarded the coveted Green Beret. I spent the next 14 years of my career as a member of the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) at Fort Campbell, KY retiring as a CW3. After retiring in 2007 I continued as a military contract instructor, program manager and business developer for a large defense firm. In 2013 I received my real estate license and haven't looked back.
