• Liaison between the Client representative and Principal contractor.• Compliance standard stetting with the Client representative.• Development and processing of HSE Plans.• Cost management/ estimation of safety costs.• Special requirements development.• Evaluation and approval of Method Statements/ works methodologies.• Fall protection and rescue plan development and implementation• Procurement.• Tendering.• Disciplinary procedure enforcement and execution • Evacuation management and emergency arrangement.• Overseeing compliance for both Client and Principal Contractor legal requirements.• Ensuring/ maintaining OSHAS 18001 compliance and accreditation.• Ensuring/ maintaining OSHAS 14001 compliance and accreditation.• Overseeing technical related issues with regards to design drawings and ideas. • Contractor compliance in auditing and site related compliance.• Enforcement of safe work practices and procedures.• Training of staff and employees with regards to risk assessments & method statements.• Coordination of emergency evacuation drills including reports.• Orientation of Principal Contractor Safety Committees and Representatives.• Field Observations of Construction, Fabrications, safety & environmental programs.• Routine compliance auditing and site specific inspections including reports.• Planned Job/Task Observations and Ergonomics.• Near Miss, Minor, Serious, Major and Fatal Incident Investigation and reporting. • Plant, Machinery, Equipment safety & control.• Lifting equipment and machinery compliance.• Monthly and yearly safety stats as well as progress presentations.• Motor vehicle accident investigations and stats. • Loss control and risk assessor.• Review and updating of company HSE procedure.• Petro chemical, Hazardous chemical and MSDS procedures.• HSE policies safety rules/ standards & company HSE rules / procedures.
