I have managed a variety of water resources related projects including watershed studies/assessments, H&H design and analysis, stormwater management and permitting, stream restoration, and BMP/remediation design. I have worked as a riverbank stabilization/ restoration technical lead and engineer of record on some of the larger contaminated river sites in the U.S., completed well over 200,000 feet of stream restoration design/ construction and hundreds of miles of stream geomorphic assessments. My broad background has proven to be a strong asset in managing multidisciplinary teams of scientists and engineers and have drawn from my experience of working on an array of projects throughout the country to innovate solutions to complex river and watershed challenges. My PhD work is currently advancing the fields of dendrochronology and engineering by pioneering methods of using the exposed roots of trees as a primary tool for assessment of riverbank erosion and sediment entrainment rates, as well as its use for estimating erosion rates used in watershed, TMDL, sediment and climate change modeling.

He has managed a variety of water resources related projects including watershed studies/assessments, H&H design and analysis, stormwater management and permitting, stream restoration, and BMP/remediation design. Mr. Dick has worked as a riverbank stabilization/ restoration technical lead on some of the larger contaminated river sites in the U.S. and has completed more than 55,000 feet of stream restoration and bank stabilization design/ construction and lead and completed more than five hundred miles of watershed/ stream geomorphic assessments.
