DESKJOB WORKIn my most recent desk job (at Wencor) I provided market value estimates for future Engineering projects, and helped clean up the data on the comprehensive product information and marketing database.Specialties: I was required to be detail-oriented, thorough, and analytical. In addition to my regularly assigned tasks, I investigated poorly-delineated and/or confusing aircraft model number designations and component groupings across various OEMs to get a better understanding of the various part numbers. I was required to develop an adequate knowledge of airlines and aircraft types, ATA (Airline Transport Association) chapters, OEM part number formats, etc.AUCTION WORKAt Brasher's Auto Auction (my current job) in Salt Lake City, I have various responsibilities which you can read about below. It is sometimes pretty stressful but also fun. I kind of view my job on Auction Tuesdays as being similar to working in an emergency room... but one that is an ER for cars. XD I have enjoyed having a break from 'cubicle work' but my feet have been bothering me more and more lately, so I may have to go back to it to get a rest. ; )
