Program development included all four P’s: Product – Worked with home builders to create a new distribution channel targeted at home buyers. The builders offered an invaluable, previously untapped distribution channel. Product designed with a strong value proposition for each constituent (Comcast, builders and consumers). Price – Created strong incentives for home builders to participate in this new program that included complimentary business services. Program offered consumers 30-day free trials that were set-up prior to consumers taking possession of the home. Resulted in significant reduction in direct to consumer marketing costs through the elimination of home mailings. Placement – Worked closely with home builders to set-up Comcast products in model homes as a showcase of services. Implemented a reporting process to notify Comcast of all new home sales. Leveraged that notification to build relationships with new home buyer. Promotion – Leveraged model home showcases to promote Comcast services. Outfitted model homes with marketing materials and signage. Met with executives from over 25 of the nation’s largest home builders to secure exclusive partnership agreements. Implementation for the new development program occurred in four phases over 18 months. All phases were implemented on time and the program resulted in increased sales penetration rates of 33%. Implemented a sales referral program for service operations that enabled pull-through revenue from tech sales. Resulted in 125% increase in sales volume for the first year. Developed sales training process and personally trained 500+ service operators across the Twin Cities market -
