Conducted sustained combat operations in Afghanistan simultaneously with civil support and stability operations in a highly contested area of the country. • Unified 7 different multinational organizations under a centralized command and control infrastructure that synchronized and aligned coalition efforts. Designed and constructed a series of obstacles and check points that dramatically reduced the movement of insurgent traffic through the Maiwand District and the flow of weapons into Kandahar.

Deputy Commander; 2nd Cavalry Regiment Baghdad, Iraq (2007 – 2009)• Deputy Commander of 4000+ Soldier, Stryker equipped Cavalry Regiment in Baghdad and Diyala Province, Iraq. Led a dynamic and talented staff of 150+ senior officers for 12 months of combat, civil support and stability operations. Led the Regiment for 3 months during the Commander’s absence. Responsible for $700M in equipment and resources. • Planned, resourced, coordinated and led the Regiments transition from holding operations in Baghdad to clearing operations in Diyala in less than 30 days. Led the Regiment in the last, large scale multinational clearing operation in Iraq concluding with the successful turnover of the Diyala Province to Iraqi Security Forces.
