Leading turnaround of Harlingen Country Club for Bobby Jones Links, in a rapidly changing and increasingly competitive industry. Oversee all daily operating functions, including expense and revenue tracking, and food & beverage operations for the entire Club. Lead and manage 100+ staff members and nine department heads.• Turned failing organization around. As COO of this private country club in Texas, stepped in to design and lead a multi-pronged initiative to turn around recently falling membership and revenue, and revitalize the culture among both staff and membership. Set up new membership structure to increase interest and long-term commitment. Building net member and dues increase to boost revenue. Revamped organizational structure in each department, and revised staffing plan. Clarified departmental managers’ accountability for results. Achieved 10% growth each month. Eliminated $40K / month loss.

Held daily forecasting, budgeting and overall financial responsibility for five Atlanta area country clubs acquired by the largest owner and operator of private golf and country clubs in the country.Led multiple clubs to ongoing success. Earned promotion to oversee five acquired private country clubs in Atlanta for ClubCorp. Made $3.5M in capital improvements. Grew clubs’ EBITDA over $550,000 in EBITDA the first year. Set up each club uniquely for future success.

Planned and managed Eagles Landing Country Club’s daily operations. Led team of 175 staff members and 11 department heads for one of the Atlanta area’s most prestigious clubs.Established club as business success and the place to be. Brought in to oversee an over $2.1M renovation project at Eagle’s Landing Country Club. Completed successful capital improvement project, and grew membership. Boosted food and beverage operations revenue. Increased membership from 950 to 1100. More than doubled EBITDA from $500K to $1.1M the first year.

Planned and managed daily operations for two private country clubs with 200 staff members. Helped owners secure good numbers in sale of the club.
