Global Build Collaborative is an engineering organization dedicated to helping our partners reach their infrastructure goals. We use a systems-centered approach to manage construction risk by incorporating both industry and USAID best practices. Our goal is to implement simple, proven, modern solutions that our partners can use to achieve success.

Technical advisor to the Global Water Coordinator during drafting of Water & Development Strategy. Advised on technical audits and development of the Infrastructure Office.

Assisted with multiple development projects including implementing advanced agriculture techniques, improving irrigation systems, consulting on the development and construction of a water distribution system.

Consulted on an array of projects, primarily in the area of data management and geographic information systems (GIS), for PBS&J's Water Resources Technologies Group. Participated in projects that ranged from implementing ESRI Web Services to flood plain modeling with HEC- RAS and GeoRas.

Assisted in the development of the Texas Hydrologic Information System, a means of sharing water resourcesdata to users through web services. This required learning the visual basic programming language andseveral data service programs, all of which were self-taught achievements.Engineers Without Borders University of Texas at Austin 1/08 to 7/09Served as project leader for the design of a water distribution system for a school in Cameroon. Our studentgroup was also responsible for raising funds to build the water system in association with locals.

Led a crew of 10 boys, 14-16 years old of varied backgrounds, who took part in a month long backwoods work program. Supervised and mentored boys with environmental restoration projects. Villanova Engineering Mission Trip Poses Verdes, Honduras 10/05 & 3/07Assisted in the construction of a computer lab for a boys' orphanage. Over the course of a week responsibilities included mixing and pouring concrete by hand as well as building rebar cages. Also had the opportunity to interact with the boys and staff of the orphanage.

Assisted in a multi-disciplined civil-engineering firm with responsibilities that included; on-site surveying, site-plan design and septic design. Gained a better understanding of AutoCad, site-design and the small town politics involved in engineering.
