Working and engaging with multiple cultures all throughout my years of learning has made me realize a wider perspective of the world around me. It was difficult working amongst diverse students, and even harder to fit into a country where I do not speak the language. I was enrolled in a public Chinese from the ages 4-10. Where I learned to speak, write, and understand Mandarin. As I was growing up, I picked up more of their traditional dishes and techniques. It was then I knew my excitement for food was getting bigger and bigger. After 6 years in the Chinese school, I finally got the chance to transferred to an International school. This is where I began my journey of creativeness, challenges, and most importantly, my journey towards learning. During my senior year of high school, I still haven't made my choice of college or university to attend for the next 4 years. Attending Enderun Colleges was the last option. I chose Enderun in a matter of seconds, perhaps it was because I had nowhere else to go. However, I knew instinctively I have made the right choice.
