Portfolio’s were invested predominately in listed SA and Namibian equities, bonds, money market securities and unlisted investments.• Responsible for management of the Development Capital Portfolio, an unlisted portfolio in which R600 million of the Namibian Government Institutions Pension Fund (“GIPF”) money was invested, between 1995 and 2002, in 16 greenfield companies in diverse areas of Namibia.

• Investment Analyst, Fixed Income – made decisions, and provided advice to the fund manager, on the appropriate action to be taken to meet the client’s objectives. Clients were invested predominately in investment grade sterling-denominated corporate bonds (some exposure to high-yield and euro-denominated credits). The funds in which I was involved had a total of R800 million under management within the 5 corporate bond funds.• Front Office Control Manager – assisted the Managing Director of Investments (MDI) in managing all aspects of the investment department.
