• Project oriented design / Completing multiple Mechanical Engineering design drawings and specifications for building systems that includes Plumbing, Heating, Fire Protection and Air distribution for final engineer review, building permit and or contractor tender.• Design and drafting of mechanical systems to meet current Ontario Building Codes and various standards.• Duct work design; static pressure calculations, grille selections, fan selection and sizing, ASHRAE 62.1• Heating system designs; steam, water, glycol, pipe sizing water flow calculations and pump selections.• Plumbing design; sanitary, water distribution, storm drainage. sizing in correspondence to OBC requirements.• Coordinating designs with Electrical, Structural, Architectural and Contractors.• Performed building load calculations for multiple disciplines.• Project Site Administration. Manage & coordinate the Mechanical & Electrical installation of various projects. Duties would include, weekly site meetings, Shop drawing review, Change notices, Monthly Draws, Deficiency reviews.

• Coordinate costs and materials to accurately estimate multiple projects.• Re-design product so it can be manufactured easily and cost effectively, while keeping customers ideas fulfilled.• Working unsupervised to create design drawings using SolidWorks 2006 / AutoCAD for production personnel. That include fabricating, welding, finishing , assembly and packaging details.• Accurately producing drawings for out sourced / sub contracting parts.• Work closely with all internal departments to uphold ISO 9001 procedures.• Responsible for Research and Design development of internal Product line, from concept to prototype.• Offered support and leadership for all other Design positions.
