This work has resulted in two published manuscripts and two manuscripts in preparation.

Research focus: G protein signaling modulator 3 (GPSM3) genetic variants involvement in leukocyte migration and how mutations in the GPSM3 gene locus may confer a protective phenotype in rheumatoid arthritis (Gall, Genes and Immunity, 2016a; Gall, Genes and Immunity, 2016b). • Created a genetic workflow within the Siderovski laboratory de novo, which developed into the Laboratory of Neuroscience and Genetics of Substance Abuse. • Characterized variants of uncertain significance from clinical samples and in vitro assays, resulting in two publications and used to update the ClinVar database. • Collaborated on exome-seq case study and identified a likely pathogenic compound heterozygous mutation in the HCN1 gene (Yu, Gall, J. Circ., in review).
