Management is my real forte, building teams that last. If I have a legacy I want it to be, he was real. In this industry there are lots of bad attitudes and big egos. Some curable, most not. I guess USACE Isn’t really in that spectrum, but I’ve marched to their orders as well. I have never, in several thousand projects, experienced an unhappy client at punch time. Makes me smile to say it! I am also interested in mentoring programs to teach the next generation our skill. What do we do? Actually very simple tasks. That requires great skill. Yes, I hear the “Oh, he has no longevity.” Those people forgot where they came from. They also think AI will turn the wrenches and build the dreams while they sit in their chair and watch..
