** Member of Legislative Affairs team of DoD Healthcare Management Systems (DHMS), the U.S. Department of Defense program office managing the acquisition and deployment of a next generation electronic health record (EHR) system to replace existing legacy systems** Report directly to the DHMS Director of Government Affairs** Prepare statements, testimony and detailed briefings for senior DHMS leaders to present to Members of Congress and Congressional Committees** Advise senior DHMS leaders on legislative strategy and tactics** Produce written responses to inquiries from Members of Congress, Congressional Committees, Government Accountability Office (GAO), and other agencies** Coordinate annual, quarterly and periodic written reports on DHMS and DoD/VA Interagency Program Office (IPO) activities, as mandated by the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), yearly appropriations bills, and other legislation
