Worked under Dr. Frances Hannan to investigate whether the use of lithium could rescue memory in a presenilin mutant Drosophila Melanogaster, a model for Alzheimer's Disease. Appetitive olfactory conditioning, a type of learning and memory assay was used where three different concentrations were tested to determine which concentration could optimally rescue performance.
