My role advises the IT and Indirect Supply Chain leadership team on contract lifecycle pipeline while leading new business cases and complex sourcing events. This involves internal and external research as well as price and technical benchmarking. Additionally, the role leads M&A entanglement discovery and execution. My primary category expertise is in infrastructure including cloud however I also support analytics and emerging AI which requires a deep understanding of security. The role leads annual and multi year strategic planning to identify and align on savings, cost avoidance and technical debt mitigation priorities but also tracks value leakage which requires me to step in occasionally to course correct. This involved rolling out the workforce planning solution to optimize how we use contractors across the division amd rationalizing agencies across Marketing.
