Instruct drafting students in the subjects of Drafting Theory, Mathematics, & CAD labSubjects range from beginner to advanced classes. Responsibilities include bringing industry experience and manufacturing processes into the classroom.Creation of lessons, lesson plans, syllabi, activities, exercises, demonstration of software, coordination of guest speakers, field trips, student advising, evaluation (grading), etc.Teaching courses in the areas of Mechanical, Architectural, & Civil Drafting. Both Theory courses and lab courses are taught. Courses in Technical Mathematics, Geometry, Trigonometry, & Computer Applications are also taught depending on the term (semester).Responsible for Curriculum development in every discipline of the Computer Aided Drafting & Design program.

Solid Modeling / E-Drawings for architectural products (while at present position with YTI).Used AutoCAD files to generate SolidWorks models for local company. 3D files of architectural window products were used to send out for quotes on prototyping plastic injection molds.

Prepared, updated, & maintained drawings and bills of material for the standard product line group.Work involved design & detailing of Industrial sized refrigeration & freezing equipment, including drive trains, pump systems, piping, pressure vessels, control enclosure mountings, frames for motor / compressor mountings, & various weldments for heavy frames, mounting brackets, & pipe supports.

Worked part time at night while working at FES full time during the day.Converted hundreds of shop drawings and sketches into finished AutoCAD drawings for modified automation equipment used in the connector industry.

Designed and detailed various high precision tooling for the injection molding industry.Most tooling was for the automotive market with some being for the pharmaceutical industry.We were responsible for the complete mold design; start to finish, for the accurate production of many interior components for customers such as Ford, GM, and Chrysler.
