My main area is in Industry and Metering but my scope goes beyond that in regards to the projects I am assigned to. The scope of my work is now global and not restricted to the projects taking place within British Gas.The projects on which I have worked include the following:1) An industry wide Gas project called Nexus, working on the Transition Design attending various industry work groups in this area.2) A project focussed on the management of Online customers and ensuring we give our agents the best access possible to the functionality to set up and maintain customers online accounts so they can manage their own energy supply and services accounts.3) A decommissioning project which involves understanding the landscape of the functionality that needs to be removed and ensuring any capability linked to this landscape is not impacted by the changes.4) The design of a new Industry Process and Market Message (Data Flow) Orchestration framework which is able to integrate with cloud and on-premise applications through a variety of integration technologies.5) FMRS (CSS) Consequential Change high level design, providing valuable input to both the internal programme and the external meetings where the industry wide requirements and design are being discussed and finalised.I am working with on-premise and cloud technologies including SAP CRM/ISU, SAP S/4 HANA, SAP PO, SAPUI5 and Angular JS. Functional Business Architect (Industry)Edf Energy Feb 2013 - Apr 2016Crawley, West Sussex, UkAs an FBA I was responsible for industry facing functional systems and processes and played a key role in ensuring compliance with industry change, including the management of the Gas Industry pipeline. I am an expert in the key industry areas including Supply Point Administration (Gain and Loss of Supply), Asset Management and Appointment of Agents. I was a key member of the Joint Office run UK Link Committee providing input to and signing off the changes made to Xoserve's central systems on behalf of EDF Energy. I had a similar role at the Gemserv run iGT UNC Workstream group. Cutover AnalystEdf Energy Oct 2011 - Feb 2013Victoria, London, UkCarried out the analysis of activities required to complete the implementation of a new Oracle utilities CC&B and MDM solution and the migration of Major Business electricity accounts from a mainframe system in to it. This included workshops, meetings with delivery teams and 1 to 1's. Used the results of this analysis to create a run plan of tasks with timings and dependencies in Microsoft Project. Also captured resources and created rota of resources required to run and support the run plan. Held walkthroughs of the plan with teams involved and worked with the rest of the Cutover team to manage the run plan through a weekend. Involved in the governance and hand over to storm (initial management of the new solution).Other activities included stakeholder management, planning, input to design decisions, both technical and non technical. -
