As a logistics and operations leader and a United States Marines Corps Colonel, I balance sharp analytical problem solving and risk mitigation skills with unflappable, decisive leadership, a combination that has never failed to bring exceptional results out of fluid, ambiguous, and challenging environments. I'm driven by a passion for working with smart people and ensuring they have the resources they need to resolve the most stubborn operational and logistical problems. In my current role, I supervise a group of outstanding professionals and provide senior leaders advice on strategic and operational logistics posture, maintenance, and supply. I am proud to lead and serve alongside exceptional service members and civilians in an environment that demands constant adaptation and improvement. I enjoy challenging work with smart people. I never content myself with the status quo. Above all, I strive to be the kind of leader I would want to work for, maintaining a keen focus on empowering my team and cultivating organizational efficiency. My many hats include: ► International Logistics & Operations Strategist: I have played an integral role in complex and mission-critical movements of personnel and supplies, ensuring the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of domestic and international campaigns, projects, and training exercises. I planned, coordinated, and supervised the historic departure of Marines from Afghanistan in 2014, a massive logistics undertaking. ► Servant Leader: I'm at my best when I'm at the center of a bright team facing new and emerging challenges. I've developed a reputation as an extremely effective team lead who delivers operational excellence and inspires soaring morale. ►Building and leading new and highly effective teams: I've proven my ability to build new organizations, solutions, and strategies to tackle complex problems and draw exceptional performance out of cross-functional teams. I led the establishment of a new organization in Marine Corps Special Operations Command and served in the first Marine Special Operations Task Force.
