Strategic Vendor Management (SVM) works with 7-Eleven’s category management team and other departments on analyzing, preparing for, conducting, and monitoring vendor negotiations and vendor performance for vendors identified as strategically partnered with 7-Eleven in both the United States and Canada.

I currently handle setting up new suppliers in the 7-Eleven system and the delivery schedules and ordering process for those. I also handle the Business Transformation analysis and correcting invoices from suppliers for our individual stores.

7-11 pays its vendors through scanning in the products delivered. I handle manually researching and paying for invoices that did not scan in to our system automatically for the east coast of the US. I coordinate with vendors and other departments when there are issues that arise with paying for products in a timely manner.
