Project OvermatchOn my introduction to this project, I worked alongside the VP of Engineering and a Product Owner to develop and implement a new product development process and drive the initial design for IDT's Project Overmatch solution. Working under such senior level leadership, I gained invaluable experience in high level product design, product management, and leadership skills. These efforts were key to the success of our initial project contract leading to one of IDT's largest multi-year follow on contract.I currently work on a 40 person team in the early stages of a large software solution where I'm making contributions to system modeling, multi-codebase integration, and development of an internal development tool. Past Roles & Accomplishments:-Managed project-wide requirements suite and worked with product team leads to streamline the requirement CCB process. -Derived cross-product use cases from project-wide business requirements, creating high-level solution design documents which helped align development priorities across all product teams.-Helped in the development and adoption of a new Common Development Process for all product development within the business division.-Led product level design for a product team, working with lead developers to set design best practices, drive design discussions, and create product design diagrams.Current Roles:-Supporting the testing, adoption, and integration of a new requirements management tool, JAMA.-Designing and developing a MagicDraw Java plugin which translates SysML diagrams to PlantUML (and vice-versa) enabling design diagrams to be source controlled with Git.-Assisting with the integration of a decades old codebase into a new software solution. -Updating old code generation templates to better align with modern best practices dictated by both company and DOD industry standards. -Updating the old system model to be integrated with the new modeling software and solution system model.

Boeing Flight Management System ProjectWorked on a 6-10 person team on IDT's first commercial Aviation project. In a hybrid Systems and Software Engineering role, I made valuable contributions to the full MBSE development cycle for several system functional areas as well as customer specific application features. I worked closely with customer technical experts and internal engineers to help deliver quality solutions, directly leading to the customer winning a contract bid against a rival company. This project further demonstrated IDT's ability to deliver quality solutions to Aviation customers, opening doors to more contracts for IDT. Each follow on contract for this project set a record for IDT's highest dollar value for a single contract at the time.Roles & Accomplishments:-Led development of three system functional areas, involving requirement/data modeling, event reconstruction design, and requirement analysis development.-Developed and continuously improved over 150+ analysis algorithms which tested and verified customer systems requirements across several system functional areas.-Reviewed code developed by fellow developers and provided feedback in areas such as readability, efficiency, accuracy, and company specific best practices.-Held customer root cause analysis discussions which uncovered customer software defects and led to achieving 100% requirement analysis maturity in several system functional areas.-Developed and maintained a data metrics feature which enabled a more granular analysis and execution of test coverage.

DOD Aerospace Software ProjectOn my first project at IDT, and as a Software Engineer, I was able to quickly become a productive member of a 7 person team, supporting both system modeling & software development, providing input into design decisions, and ultimately owning the development of a key customer specific feature. This was IDT's first project with an Aviation/Aerospace customer, since at the time IDT mainly did business within the Navy world. The success of this project facilitated IDT's breakthrough into the Aviation world, leading to multiple ongoing Aviation commercial & DOD contracts and the creation of a new Aviation business area within IDT which has continuously grown to this day.Roles & Accomplishments:-Captured initial requirements and created the project system model.-Designed and developed a key application feature which enabled customer execution of custom behavioral analysis functions: -Developed a Java library which translated a proprietary Xtext modeling language to Javascript code. -Developed a C++ V8 API which enabled Javascript to execute backend data analysis functions.-Supported onsite customer meetings where I demonstrated product features and performed product integration testing.-Developed REST endpoints in support of front-end developers as needed.

Completed a 4-month training program in India during which I was trained in full stack development in the Microsoft stack.•Technologies included: C#, .NET, MS SQL, HTML, CSS, Entity Framework, ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI.January 2017 - October 2018 / Leading Telecom Company, West Chester, PAUpon completion of training, I was placed with the Core Billing QA team for a major Telecom company as a Test Engineer to support an ongoing project which involves migrating to a new bill statement system. My role as a Lead involves test planning, test development, test execution, documentation, and miscellaneous support for the QA team.Roles & Accomplishments:• Lead test planning and execution efforts for integration of a new statement system. Project has included 80+ code releases, in which I have reported and tracked 750+ defects to date.• Evaluate feature design documents and write configuration, data preparation, and functional test scripts, ensuring full test coverage of new features.• Continuously working with team developers to improve the automated bill statement validation tool.• Assist in test planning and execution for quarterly version releases of the core billing system.• Created SQL query reference documentation for the QA and Production system databases.

• Developed test plans for a prototype set-top box and Operating System• Analyzed and distributed test results for an automated, mission-critical testing environment which I maintained• Updated and maintained the testing environment as needed for test cycles for the test team• Ran software and system tests on various set-top box platforms per test plans

• Achieved a 10% speedup of existing automated Java tests on the proprietary ClearPath MCP Operating System• Wrote and implemented system test programs for the ClearPath MCP Operating System to test the compatibility and functionality of the Java Native Interface with the system’s legacy Cobol85 language• Improved the accessibility of existing Java tests to help testers with little to no Java knowledge better run, assess, and report on test results

• Managed the department front desk, managing all phone calls, e-mails, and walk-in clients, distributing problem tickets to appropriate departments and technicians• Diagnosed and resolved high priority problem tickets as a dispatch technician for on-campus clients• Supervised student workers, distributing problem tickets amongst them and assisting them as needed
