Designed remotely operated equipment for dismantling and dissecting nuclear reactors. Lead engineer on an underwater reactor dissection and waste packaging system design. Generated concepts and models for proposals and bids.

Designed injection molded plastic parts primarily for the pool & spa industry. Worked with customers to create a family of products for their application.

New product development and project planning working with sales and marketing departments. Design of injection molded plastic parts and assemblies such as valves, jets, and waterfalls. Built and programmed 5 LabView based data acquisition systems.

Designed shelter modifications for the mobile command headquarters of Central Command (War in Afghanistan after 911 attack). Responsible for integration of electronic, tactical, and communications equipment into expandable military shelters.

Designed conduited wiring harnesses for the aviation industry. Supervised drafters and assemblers to build prototype harness sets used for “ironbird” testing of new landing gear mechanisms.

Designed high accuracy planetary motion spindle for coating chamber use. Wrote test plans and reports for environment testing of high temperature electrical insulating material.

Designed new multiple input voltage power distribution system safety interlocks. Design received UL and CE approval. Pioneered new wafer dissection techniques and materials.

Supervised test lab. Designed various components and systems for a robotic surgical aid performing hip and knee replacement surgery. Created new toolpath strategy resulting in reduced surgical times and implant cavity accuracy.
