Pallet packaging high weight steel coils or plates machined from a slitter head and/or shear. Using heavy machinery, forklifts, and over head cranes to assist in the packaging process. Ensure utmost quality of material before being shipped to customers.I am the head packager at my location on second shift where coils ranging in size are ran through a slitter head (Paxson) to a smaller specified width. Through the use of overhead cranes, conveyor belt tables, and forklifts, the coils are packaged to the customer's request. This can range from max weight per lift, specified amount of coils per lift, paper wrapping, plastic wrapping, etc.. Various other tasks may include cleaning/organizing of working area, as well as stocking on packaging items such as bands, clips, and building pallets.

I guaranteed utmost service with the customers: ensuring customer satisfaction with products and assisting customers with department and production locations throughout the store. My team and I ensured high quality pre-cut products for customer ease of access, along with restocking the deli department shelves for customer visual aid.
