Upgraded school infrastructure including reconfiguration of data center, repurposing of servers, re-cabling of main building with over 14 miles of cable, and deployment of a new wireless infrastructure. Other projects included deployment of new laptops to each faculty member, 80 laptops for student use throughout the campus, consolidation of printing removing wasteful disparate equipment, brought reliable consistent Internet access to faculty, staff and students. Removed wasteful spending within the Information Technology budget saving approximately $75,000 annually. Created processes throughout all areas of information technology streamlining Helpdesk, new purchases, training, 5-year plan, and tracking return on investment.

Sole Co-Ed Coach for Cross Country, and Track and Field Teams. Grew the Cross Country program from a team of 15 student athletes to a consistent team roster of 45+. Grew the Indoor Track and Field program from a team of 8 student athletes to a consistent team roster of 50+. Grew the Outdoor Track and Field program from a team of 20 student athletes to a consistent roster of 60+. Coached and assisted in the development of 5 individual New England Champions, 15 individual Division II State Champions, and three individual overall state champions.

Aliptia operated in the small to midsized network security marketplace. Responsibilities included business development, marketing, engineering, and delivery. Utilized our Rings of Confidence Methodology of management, assessment, design, implementation, certification, maintenance, knowledge capture, knowledge transfer, and next steps. Developed internal policies and procedures, enabling consistent delivery of all aspects of internal and external security threats and vulnerabilities. Determined organizational needs and business requirements including security and privacy impact analysis, budgets, strategy, design, and validation.

Assessed status of all information technology being utilized throughout the City of Lawrence and was tasked with hiring, managing, and developing an internal and external team of professionals to accomplish the following: fiber optic network interconnecting twenty-two city buildings, design and develop a data center, design and deploy servers, desktops, multifunctional devices, network test environment, deployment of mobile devices to eliminate paper, extend GIS system functionality, deploy video conferencing, develop helpdesk function, training area, document storage and scanning system, VoIP implementation, security system, renegotiate contracts for wireless service and land lines, implement Fire Department software, upgraded accounting application, install email archiving, antivirus protection, web controls, and gas fuel delivery system. Full documentation including project plans, lists of hardware and software, network diagrams, and building diagrams were delivered. These projects required the integration of several disparate systems as well as communication with all department heads, upper management, City Council and other government agencies via email, memos, and presentations. Each project was evaluated individually as well as how it integrated with other projects to capture the return on investment. The result of these efforts was ongoing savings in excess of 2 million dollars annually.

Tasked with web enabling the CA-Masterpiece Financial Application originally developed in COBOL. Responsible for six million dollar budget, and all aspects of the project including; budgetary, hiring and firing, project management, and progress reports to CEO. Team was given four months to complete a prototype and display at CA-World. Team consisted of developers from CA, AT&T Solutions Group, and Infresco. Tools and utilities needed were developed and built by this team to assist in the development of prototype system. Project completed on time and under budget.

Responsible for PC based AccPac Financial application and the North American customer base. Applications included; General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Job Cost, Purchase Order, Inventory Control, System Manager, and over 600 add-on modules. Expanded customer care to three locations: Andover, Massachusetts, Long Island, New York, and San Jose, California. Grew team to 35 customer care representatives and three overflow operators. Team handled an average of 1200 inquiries per day.

Worked with the Fixed Assets team during a major rewrite of ten million lines of COBOL code in the CA-Masterpiece Financial Application.

Client base included North American CA-Masterpiece users of General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable modules. Performed onsite as well as classroom environment training sessions. Responsibilities included crafting all course materials and exercises.

Worked with a team of experts responsible for the conversion of non-CA products to the equivalent CA software application. This was performed on a variety of hardware platforms including, DEC, Wang VS, AS 400, System 38, System 34, IBM 3090, and HP 3000 systems.

Member of a programming task force empowered to re-engineer approximately 175 mainline COBOL coded programs. Worked with lead developer and program design architect to re-architect code to conform to new company standards.

Became sole developer responsible for all business applications including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Order Entry, Inventory Management, and Commission programs.
