I am a serial entrepreneur and problem solver with a 30+ year track record taking companies from concept through commercial operations and ultimately acquisition. I have been fortunate to be a part of the founding teams of several med-tech startups where I have gained an expertise in a wide variety of disciplines including, finance, financial modeling, operations, accounting, sourcing, IT, risk management and more. I remain actively involved in the day-to-day management of Aesthetic Solutions, Inc. a manufacturer of the line of Dermaglow medical devices for distribution into cosmetic dermatology and the med esthetic markets. In 2005, looking to build an army of end users for my Dermaglow Microdermabrasion brand, I partnered with the Paul Mitchel organization to build two of the country’s largest and most successful cosmetology and esthetic training schools. Managing over 100 employees and nearly 600 students when they were sold in late 2017. More recently, I have joined a group of doctors as founder and CEO/CFO of NeoMetrix Dx, Inc. a startup focused on the development and distribution of an in vitro diagnostic device for use in hospital labs. Our device and associated test will help clinicians better understand which of the 70% of newborns born jaundiced are at the greatest risk of neurological damage and help guide treatment, protecting the health of the millions of babies born each year, while eliminating hundreds of millions of dollars of unnecessary treatments annually.
