I have been assisting our Survey Party Chief for the last 8 years providing support in the areas of fenceline stakeout, right of way stakeout, pipe elevations, bridge elevations, slope staking, and redheading finished grade. I have become familiar with Linker Rods, levels, and Trimble and Leica GPS data collectors. I have also provided inspection support while learning on several projects that included roadway and structure excavation, as well as the placement of borrow and backfill, becoming familiar with the recording of the work done for contractor payments. Also, I have supported and provided training during the placement of concrete bridge decks, pier columns, and pier caps, and PCCP placement.Currently, I am the Lead Materials Tester in my field operations lab, with 7+ years of experience of dealing with the every day operations of project material testing. I am fully capable of delegating responsibility and testing the quality of materials (soils, concrete and concrete aggregates, and asphalt and asphalt aggregates) using both NDOT and AASHTO methods to ensure the state gets a quality product from the contractor.
