• Responsible for full participation and contribution to engineering design and product development. Liaise directly with US R&D headquarters for project deliverables and coordinates with local team forimplementation. • Responsible for providing designs of mechanical components meeting the cost, functional requirements and industry standards.• Create 3D models of parts and assemblies ensuring proper form, fit and function.• Prepare detailed 2D drawings, documents and specifications of parts and assemblies.• Create product BOM structure, control revisions, evaluate change requests and complete all aspectsof engineering change orders/notices (ECN) using PDM/PLM software.• Perform design calculations and analysis; FEA stress analysis and Tolerance Stack Analysis.• Develop test procedures and design test fixtures to evaluate prototypes.• Full participation in design reviews, contribute and motivate members to take part in innovation andcost reduction activities.• Assist in troubleshooting field related problems and propose solutions.• Provide continuation engineering support to solve production issues as they arise.• Interface closely with manufacturing and off-shore suppliers for DFM & DFA reviews and for costsaving design enhancements.

• Organizes Engineering related documents for new and existing products both in the development and completion.• Using CATIA V4 CAD software to make and modify 3D models (overhead consoles, side panels, parts of a seat and other parts of automobile interiors), as required by our counterparts in US for testing & production.• Performs design/ task reviews to ensure adherence to standards, specifications and work.• Acquires immediate customer feedback on the quality, timeliness of the work output.• Analyzes the internal customer feedback with intention to assess the existing work processes and develop improvement ideas.• Participates productivity in all continuous improvement activities. Supports that all individual and deliverables are performed and goals attained.

• Designing precision parts for Hobby/collector products (RC vehicles, scaled model vehicles, war tanks, war planes etc.). • Using ThinkDesign application to make 3D models out of 2D product drawings.• Interprets 2D drawing to 3D models.• Makes detailed instruction sheets necessary for tooling the 3D models to be processed in NC machines.• Monitors the status of the current parts being made by the machines and modifies NC program incase of errors.
