During my time in Carizon i was tasked to:- Monitor, review, and post monthly accruals for expenditure items.- Handle company queries regarding expenditure accounting.- Review and monitor provision accounts, collaborating with divisions/stations to clear provision/suspense accounts.- Ensure timely completion of month-end closing activities, including amortization of prepayments and raising necessary journal entries.- Review and raise invoices/credit notes to subsidiaries/third parties promptly.- Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly/half-yearly/annual reports as needed.- Provide support to the financial manager as required.- Assist in budgetary control procedures, including monitoring operating expenditure against budget.- Participate in the annual operating budget exercise and/or forecast exercise.

- Did a 3 month part time job at Zara assisting them in inventory work in their stockroom. Daily tasks are to do stocktaking and ensure operations run smoothly in the retail store.

- Did my polytechnic internship programme under Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited for a period of 4 months and was attached to the Risk Advisory department.- During my time interning in Deloitte, I have learned various skills and assisted my department using my knowledge and skills that I have attained from my time spent in Singapore Polytechnic.- I have assisted and evaluated government agencies' firewalls, network diagrams, endpoints and computer or user group policies whether they are compliant and in line with government or international standards in terms of data handling and network handling. Writing and consolidating penetration testing results and putting them into a formal report for the client.
