I review electrical drawings for contractor bidding, electrical change orders, voluntary electrical alternatives (VEs), electrical submittals, and RFI's from electrical contractors. I also aid in production of Electrical Requests for Pricing (RFP) for electrical contractors, Scope Narratives for Design Build projects, contract negotiations, electrical code interpretations, and labor projections. My review of electrical proposals ensures no scope gap. I distribute proposals and RFPs to contractors and evaluate lead times to prevent construction schedule derailment. I serve as the Project Executive. My collaboration with local and national vendors secures the lowest equipment buyouts available. I ensure top-tier communication with all involved parties to guarantee deadlines and project expectations are met and understood.

My proudest achievement with Comfort Systems USA/Dilling Group was the improvement of project profitability by 30% during my tenure as Electrical Director. As Electrical Director I maintained safety processes and a consistently safe work environment. I also visited sites to keep communication open with project teams, open communication is the key to staying on schedule and prevents many issues from impacting workflow. I reviewed and corrected incident and near-miss reports and ensured all aspects of electrical work were completed correctly and in a timely manner. I oversaw PMs and their employees as well as the estimation team. Our teams consistently completed projects within budget. I implemented new and updated Quality Assurance and Control processes as well as improved the Standard Operating Procedures. My strengths in relationship development, new account strategy, and opportunity reviews increased sales. I confirmed the MEP system operations met all set project goals. I made sure to account for a variety of factors to ensure cost-effective long-term solutions were provided to customers each and every time. I approved design drawings and specifications. I helped to select MEP subcontractors and development of contracts and produced RFPs. I was chosen to lead pre-bid meetings and interviews. I also coordinated with the PM team during construction, internal and external teams for MEP pricing review, and the construction team throughout all stages. I facilitated and continued positive subcontractor relationships which allowed me to get the best pricing for our clients. I met or beat deadlines for submittals, pricing, and manpower requirements. My proudest project that I completed with Gephart Electric was the electrical work during the restoration of the Saint Paul, Minnesota Capitol Building, the challenging part of this project was completing the electrical work to a high quality while also preserving the historical nature of the building. As the Senior Project Manager, I oversaw complex and high-profile construction projects with budgets up to $34.5M. I was responsible for teams of up to 120 employees including project managers, engineers, CAD technicians, safety coordinators, and on-site crews. I managed all project financials including budgets, forecasting, projections, and purchasing. I formulated project executions and confirmed that all drawings and specifications met technical coherence. I hired competent project teams and managed their performance. The unity with property owners on project documents and with Services and Management Division for future additions and warranties helped me to build client relationships. I created financially conservative solutions with general contractors and communicated with suppliers and purchased project materials. I introduced technologies to improve management including Accubid ChangeOrder, BlueBeam, as well as more efficient workstations.
