Responsible for leading the global tax policy function, including tracking global tax policy developments, coordinating with the global team to analyze the impacts of tax policies, and brainstorming strategies and solutions. Additional assistance on certain special projects and Treasury initiatives.

I have been working with clients to anticipate, interpret and apply the new 2017 tax rules and regulations to their various fact patterns. In evaluating transaction decisions I rely equally on legislative interpretation and quantitative modeling to anticipate potential impacts. I work across my clients' internal stakeholders (tax, finance, legal, treasury, C-suite) and with their external advisors to ensure project milestones are met and objectives achieved.My retention of clients is driven by core technical knowledge, project and team management, and open communication. In the 2020 year I managed projects with fees of $3.5M across 8 clients.Specific project experience includes: BEAT and GILTI planning, global legal entity rationalization, intellectual property realignments, supply chain planning, substantial contribution analyses, transaction review memoranda, permanent establishment and treaty analyses, tax opinions.

Technical assistance focus areas include: exchange of information, tax transparency, and preparing clients for Global Forum peer reviews. Additional experience with tax incentives and small-midsize tax regimes.

Enforcement Section

Researcher and editor for the annual "Doing Business" report. This position was full time from November 2006 until June 2008, and subsequent summers during law school. Main focus on insolvency legislation and practices in 182 countries, among other topic areas.
