I lead an exploration team in Portugal, searching for copper, lead, zinc, and precious metals. In the Iberian Pyrite Belt, I have been responsible for managing a joint venture between AVRUPA Minerals and Antofagasta Minerals S.A. that has made two discoveries over the life of the project. I am also leading exploration on several other large properties within the Iberian Pyrite Belt. The Sesmarias massive sulfide showing, currently being defined, was discovered under ~100 meters of Tertiary cover rocks. To date, the showing is in excess of 1.5 kilometers in strike length with variable thickness ranging from 1-60 meters. A second polymetallic stockwork discovery was made in 2012 at the Monte da Bela Vista showing. This stockwork mineralization is located under structural cover, in the footwall of a thrust fault, and has yet to be fully drill tested. In addition to the Alvalade JV, I am conducting regional exploration on several other licenses within the Pyrite Belt, covering approximately 4000 square kilometers in total. These licenses include the Marateca, Mertola, Margarida, and Sines properties. I am currently working towards getting these licenses ready for joint venture.I am also conducting exploration for copper and gold in the Zona Ossa Morena. I have several early stage discoveries within this belt, which I hope to drill test this year. These include the Alcaçovas IOCG and Agua de Peixe silver, zinc, and lead showings.Other current projects I am working on include the Slivovo JV with Byrnecut in Kosovo. This is a structurally complex gold showing that we are currently drill testing. I am also looking around the region for other opportunities.My responsibilities include; technical report writing, planning and carrying out regional and deposit scale mapping campaigns, deposit style characterization and potential evaluation, generation of drill targets and interpretation of drill results, and oversight of day to day activities.

Geologist with the main task to log deep drill holes from the Copper Creek EDM vein deposit, an end member porphyry system. I was able to assist in the early stages of vein paragenesis and had the opportunity to view several thousand meters of core.

While consulting for Animas, I primarily worked on the Santa Gertrudis sediment hosted gold project in Sonora, Mexico. This work included mapping of roughly 100 square kilometers at 1:2000 and 1:5000 scales. We utilized outcrop mapping of rock types, as well as alteration intensities to delineate several phases of drill targeting( http://www.animasresources.com/s/SGProjectMaps.asp?ReportID=398457&_Title=Tigre-Enedina-Prospect )I also worked on the Kinsley Mountain project in northeastern Nevada while working for Animas. This project involved mapping roughly 25 square kilometers at 1:5000 scale. We never drilled this project, but multiple drill testable targets were developed. This project was picked up by Pilot Gold.

My primary project while with the survey was to map earth fissures. I worked on the Apache Junction, Chandler Heights, Mesa, Scottsdale, Luke, Picacho, and Harquahala study areas. Assistant to Mike Rucker, field geophysicist. We were developing and using cutting edge geophysical techniques to investigate earth fissures throughout central and southern Arizona. Methods used included; Dipole dipole IP/resistivity, seismic, and gravity surveys. I also digitized large volumes of historic downhole geophysical data from throughout Maricopa and Pinal counties.

I worked in Paul Knauth's stable isotope lab. Sample preparation and a lot of note taking.

I prepared samples in George Gerhels isochron lab. My project was working with Precambrian zircons from central Arizona directed by Karl Karlstrom of the University of New Mexico. This work included sample collection along the Grand Canyon and other key locals along the Yavapai to Mazatzal suture to better understand the tectonic history of North America. I prepared samples though various stages of crushing, separation, and discriminate picking of zircons.

Sample preparation for the planetary sciences group. I tested different material properties of fine grained, iron rich clays with analogous chemical composition to those found on Mars. This effort was part of the Mars rover missions.

Welder and fabricator of general wrought iron. Biggest jobs include the Phoenix botanical gardens front entrance, the telemundo steel/earth foundation, and several jobs in clean rooms.
