Responsible for Flight Controls and Motion real-time software development on 14 CFR Part 60 Level D Full Flight Simulator platforms. This involves:- Requirements derivation- Analysis of flight test data- Satisfaction of real-time constraints- Modelling of aircraft mechanical and aerodynamic control systems and simulation thereof- Network and system programming- Interaction with hardware in a safety critical environment- Heavy use of: C, C++, Fortran, Linux, and DDS middleware
