Hello! I'm Bryan Matel, a recent graduate with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine. I have a strong passion for engineering and possess skills in Thermal Desktop, SOLIDWORKS, MATLAB, etc. I'm eager to enhance these skills and utilize them in the industry, particularly in aerospace. My dream is to merge my love for space with my engineering expertise.During my time at UCI, I was a part of the Spacecraft Thermal Management Systems research group. Our goal is to develop Variable Emissivity Device prototypes (VEDs), specifically for application in a CubeSat destined for Low-Earth Orbit. These VEDs effectively manage thermal loads from solar radiation and internal electronics, providing an affordable thermal control solution for spacecraft. We collaborate closely with the UCI CubeSat project to integrate the VEDs into satellite operations.
