Benefits processing of retirements, health benefits, military service deposits, retirement code changes, Thrift Savings Plan and USERRA. ·Lead team in balancing workload, train or arrange training for team members, report and monitor progress of team. ·Research and resolve remedy cases that involve adjusting pay or retirement records. ·Analyze and interpret new and existing benefit laws and regulations. ·Provide technical guidance and assistance to benefits branch on difficult or unique work assignments. ·Develop work instructions, training material for benefits staff and produce reports. · Utilize the Federal Payroll/Personnel System to process benefits

Leads a team to process retirement and disability claims for various Agencies aligned with the Department of Interior, Interior Business Center.
