As the Founder of Mindful Playground, LLC, I am passionate about creating next-gen AI-driven products and services that enable businesses and consumers to harness the true power and potential of AI. While the current generation of AI models (like ChatGPT) is impressive, I believe there is vast untapped potential in how we interact with these systems. My work focuses on exploring innovative ways to enhance these interactions, creating tools that push the boundaries of what’s possible to unlock new opportunities for users to engage with AI in more meaningful and powerful ways.I began my career in 1998 at CACI as a Systems Analyst, where I worked on testing, requirements definition, documentation, and quality assurance across multiple Department of Defense software development projects. During this time, I chaired a division-level Software Engineering Process Group (SEPG), gaining early experience in CMM implementation and support. After the release of CMMI in 2002, I transitioned into quality management, continuous process improvement, and CMMI-based consulting.Following 10 years at CACI, I spent a year at CGI Federal as CMMI Implementation Lead on a Momentum project for the EPA. In 2009, I joined iPower LLC (Virginia), where I served as a consultant and CMMI subject matter expert, supporting both government and commercial clients. I became a certified CMMI Instructor and Principal Consultant and was PMP certified in 2015, managing teams of up to 28. My role expanded to include business development, where I contributed to proposal writing and management.By 2023, I held several roles at iPower, including Senior Manager of Training Delivery, Program/Project Manager, Principal Consultant, CMMI Instructor, ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 Lead Auditor, CMMC cybersecurity consultant (CCP), and Proposal Manager. I’ve supported over 100 commercial clients, including GDIT, Deloitte, and ASRC Federal, as well as numerous federal agencies such as AOUSC, NIH’s NITAAC, the Department of State, DIA, USGS, the Department of Transportation, and the Department of Commerce.Now, I’m channeling my 25+ years of expertise in management and consulting into creating cutting-edge AI solutions that will transform how businesses and consumers leverage the power of AI.
