Imagine yourself in the studio (or major sporting event), a foot away from a camera, five seconds to air and talent is awaiting your cue. Fast paced and high stress, being a stage manager is not for the shy or timid. Live television causes you to expect the unexpected as sports news can break at any time. Whether its Dwight leaving the Lakers or Chicago winning the cup, we need to cover the news as soon as it breaks. -Floor director for ESPN's flagship programming to include Sportscenter, NFL Live, NFL 32, Baseball Tonight and other seasonal programming.-Coordinate with Director and studio crew to execute the best live network television possible.-Work alongside the industries best talent and active sports superstars. -Live TV requires me and my crew to work under tight deadlines and extreme pressures.-Use creative eye to assist in directing camera shots.-Troubleshoot camera, lighting and monitors issues while on-air.-Conduct Production Assistant seminars on studio awareness and etiquette.

On-air promotions is the front line of broadcast marketing and my mission was to grab viewers attention in 30 seconds or less. It was my job to develop new strategies to increase viewers penetration and retention. One of my strategies was to create a program that tracked promo frequency and duration on each international network. This program showed how often promos aired and compared them to viewer ratings in turn increasing viewer penetration. Management was able to use this program to correlate cost vs promo frequency.-Scheduled on-air logs for the Australian and Latin America ESPN networks.-Developed promo tracking program to report campaign frequency, length and penetration. Program gives management the ability to see production cost vs air time.-Created an instructional workshop on photoshop to the promotions department.-Managed finances for out of house production, freelance editors, voice overs and on-air talent. These accounts were in millions per year.-Created program to track production errors and ways to correct them.

Marketing and branding are a passion for me and having the opportunity to combine them with multimedia was an awesome experience. Producers would allow me to use my creative outlook when gathering clips to help best portray a campaign. Participating in campaign meetings was very fulfilling as I was able to pitch my ideas and see them become an on-air promotion. -Part time production assistant for ESPN international On-air promotions department.-Utilized Quantel (Q-cut) to gather clips and highlights requested by producers.-Participated in creative meetings for marketing and promo campaigns.-Co-created NFL returns promotion for Australia network 2012.-Gained experience towards multimedia tape and digital formats and how they are trans-coded.

Hertz was an interesting company to work for with many different experiences and challenges. Often times there were difficult situations and it was our job to solve the problem. For instance, a customer was traveling to a hospital (to see family member) when she got into a car accident. We met her at the accident, rented her a car so she could continue on her trip. The customer was under emotional stress and we did our best to get her back with her family. -Managed all day to day operations of a rental car branch.-Processed over 100 rental contracts per month.-Consistently achieved sales goals (Monthly & Quarterly).-Gained advanced knowledge of automotive maintenance and insurance.-Learned how to adapt and resolve customer issues and accidents.

Shortly after 9/11, I made the commitment to serve my country and it has been the reason why I achieve success to this day. The Marines have instilled a confidence and discipline that allows me to complete any mission that is put in front of me. Being deployed to Iraq has given my a different outlook on life and makes me proud of our freedoms as Americans. -Deployed to Iraq 2003 6th Communication Battalion-Deployed to Iraq 2004 2nd Battalion 11th Marines-Awarded Certificate of Commendation. Established infrastructure for a forward operating base on Iraq/Saudi border. -Provided security during 2004 Iraqi democratic elections.-Promoted to Corporal and squad leader 2005
