Management storage infrasturcture, in a diverse environment, including HDS VSP, EMC VNX and VMAX, Brocade DCX, and associated systems and software. Replication, DR, performance tuning, and NAS. Work across the IT organization in support of Vantiv's projects and initiatives.

Management, technical support, and administration of all core Information Technology resources, including storage area networks (SAN); storage systems from Hitachi, including USP, AMS, and HCP; Windows servers (including Microsoft Cluster Service, Virtual Server Service/Hyper-V); Active Directory; disaster recovery; backups (HP Data Protector, HP libraries, and backup to disk); virtualization; capacity planning; database administration of MS SQL servers. Act as the lead project manager for all IT projects. Develop strategies for data warehousing systems, including capacity planning and performance monitoring. Lead corporate technology initiatives and regulatory compliance (PCI DSS and SAS). Management all IT staff, including scheduling, task prioritization, and performance reviews. Budget for, authorize and request bids, and purchase equipment and services in support of corporate operations. Meet with vendors and manufacturer’s representatives to negotiate contracts and pricing, and find ever more advantageous business partners for IT solutions. Represent the IT Department to other business units within the company.

Design, recommend, deploy, and manage all SAN switches, cabling, storage systems, HBAs and failover software. Database administration of MS SQL Servers and Oracle RAC environments. Develop strategies for data warehousing systems, including capacity planning and performance monitoring. Maintain backup software and systems, provide technical support for backup administrators, and design backup schedules. Install, configure, and support Windows clusters (MSCS) including MS SQL, Exchange, MS VSS, Oracle RAC, and file and print servers. Coordinate IT operations with other departments and personnel. Provide technical support and direction for System Administrators and Desktop Support staff.

Design, deploy, install, and administer Windows and Linux-based servers, SAN equipment (Hitachi, Brocade, and EMC), and network routers, switches, and firewalls. Provide technical support to System Administrators and Desktop Support staff with regards to Windows desktop clients, printers, and Windows servers. Administration of MS SQL servers.

Deployment and administration of Linux-based application and web servers for the corporate internet web site. Responsible for network security of the LAN and DMZ environments, including the deployment of Cisco equipment, and ensured the adherence to security policies for the IT department’s Windows servers. Support and performance tuning of Microsoft SQL Servers.

Support IT infrastructure in a mixed Windows/AS400/Macintosh environment. Install and configure Windows and Macintosh servers, perform upgrades, troubleshoot, manage projects and supervise support staff. Provide system administration for Windows, Macintosh, and AS400 servers, and Windows and Macintosh clients systems and Microsoft SQL Servers. Install, configure, and support Cisco and HP network equipment, terminate network cables and install interface cards. Manage print server environments, including Microsoft and Xerox Fiery servers.
