My employment with Glanbia as part of the Pure Ambition Graduate Programme consisted of three, one year, rotations within the group of companies.Currently in my 3rd year rotation I am gaining valuable financial accounting experience in a business unit preparing the monthly, half year & year end accounts to strict deadlines for four company codes based in different geographical areas (US / EMEA / ASPAC) using different local currencies.I have received great exposure to many financial accounting areas, including accounts payable and receivable, cash flows, banking, payments, transfer pricing models, intercompany accounting and to the operating system (SAP), the financial reporting system (BCS) and the balance sheet reconciliation tool (Blackline).Year 2 was similar work to year 3 but on a smaller scale working mainly with two group companies in the US region. This role consisted of financial accounts preparation and stock reconciliations for stock held at internal and external locations across the US, EMEA and ASPAC.Year 1 was spent in the Group Treasury Department where I was responsible for the Accumulation, and transfer, of data from numerous banking platforms / SAP globally into the treasury management system in order to compile the Daily Borrowings Report for presentation to the group treasurer and senior management.I was also responsible for the manual input of third party, cross-currency and intercompany payments, using different banking platforms, including the authorisation of intercompany payments.

- Remained in a senior management position while attending college- Responsible for all off-licence ordering, pricing, promotions, stock taking and staff- Due to college commitments this is all done using limited time so efficiency is key- All staff know what I expect of them and everything is kept in order- During my time as off-licence manager the store has won the Irish Distillers Off-Licence of the year award on two occasions - Completed the WSET wine award at an Intermediate level.

- Worked as a trainee manager for 3 years- Worked in every department of the shop, from shop floor to Deli/Butchers, to accounts- Responsible for opening and locking up the supermarket- After completing training in every department I was given the title of Off-Licence Manager, while still carrying out my role as a trainee manager- Learned many skills in this role, Customer Service being the main skill attained- Decided to return to college and now only manage the Off-Licence department
