Provide high quality and customer-connected service for shoppers in the deli department. Greet and communicate effectively with customers while serving them either behind the deli and cheese department. Stacking skids on to high racks of product using electrical moving equipment. Using slicer for meat or cheese and packaging, pricing for the customer. Receive product off delivery trucks and displaying them appropriately around the store. Other responsibilities include maintaining and safely cleaning in and around my department, directing fellow employees to their duties when closing the store.

Began a summer internship at a music distribution company called Indie Pool. Learned how successful marketing and promotion go for an artist. Learned the basics of distributing music for independent artists, which included putting CD’s together with album art and packaging them up for shipping to the artist. Reviewed and evaluated music for licensing in television and film, researched bands online for management of their database, conducted phone surveys to musicians and restocked & pulled CD’s from their warehouse for distribution.

Maintained the cleanliness of the store and greeted customers upon arrival. Took customers orders and constructed sandwiches of their choice, seated them and checked timely if meal was up to par. Held key to store and opened/closed the store on a daily basis. Ran the hot dog cart outside of the store and at Gore Park, handling money inside and out of the store. Catered food to various events around the city. Responsible for stocking the cooler and shelves within the store and made sure all dishes, garbage were emptied at the end of every night to close the store.
