I am responsible the university's environmental health programs, and I oversee the management of the occupational health program. I conduct environmental health assessments, as wells as laboratory, shop and studio inspections and audits to ensure safety and compliance. I consult with all levels of administration, faculty and staffing to assess risk and provide regulatory information, best practices and other resources to help mitigate environmental and occupational risk. I am currently the COVID-19 Supervisor, working to help ensure that our campus protocols are adequate to prevent the spread of the disease.

Responsible for managing the occupational safety and health programs for the Washington Corrections Center for Women and the Mission Creek Correction Center for Women.

I managed and prioritized the regular maintenance of the facility and its roughly 15 journeyman-level mechanics, electricians, and custodian. I oversaw the small repair and construction projects, ordered equipment and supplies and was on-call to deal with facilities emergencies as they arose.

-Coordinated the generation, consolidation, and shipping of all hazardous and universal waste for the campuses of the university-Consulted the Nevada State College in matters related to hazardous waste and materials management-Inspected university laboratories to ensure compliance with chemical hygiene standards, as well as local, state and federal regulations

Was part of an technical assistance program responsible for working with small businesses and schools to advise them on best practices and regulations regarding dangerous waste management and disposal
